Hello, I’m Izzy,  the heart behind Hükt Couture. My love for the fibre arts came from just wanting to slow myself down and start creating things that others can enjoy and love.

I started crocheting and it was an immediate connection. I started with pretty basic items but I soon realised that wearable items was the route I wanted to go down. I have always loved fashion, and being able to wear something I have created just gives me the biggest confidence boost - and I would love to share that feeling with the rest of the world.

I believe that everyone has a story to tell and everyone has that little spark in them which is just bursting to get out. If I can help people express themselves through the art and garments I create, then I believe that is a job well done.

Everything I create is made from natural fibres and sustainably sourced, as I believe that we have to tread lightly on our planet. With more growing concern about microplastics, I want whoever wears their Hükt Couture piece, not have to worry about the negative affects it could possibly have on their health.
